One of our award winning aesthetician will perform your HydraFacial treatment in the comfort of our office. Each treatment is approximately 45 minutes.

The HydraFacial device uses four actions that contribute to the resurfacing of the skin; cleansing and physical exfoliation from water pressure and a textured tip, chemical exfoliation from acids such as glycolic and salicylic, suction to lift dead skin cells off the surface, and serum fusion.

A basic treatment starts with a water-based solution being blasted onto the skin to break up the topmost layer of dead skin cells. Using the spiral suction tip of the HydraFacial device, the dead skin cells and surface debris are lifted away, providing a gentler method of extraction. Next, a chemical peel solution is delivered in the same way, increasing the depth of exfoliation. The final steps involve the same pressurized delivery of treatment serums customized to the needs of the skin. Because all steps are delivered in a hydrating, water-based solution, the HydraFacial delivers an impressive amount of plumping hydration to the skin when compared to a more traditional microdermabrasion treatment.

In addition to this, you can work with your skincare professional to further customize your HydraFacial by incorporating boosters or add-ons targeting your specific skin concerns.

To prepare, we ask you not to take the referenced medications and refrain from some lifestyle activities, including:

• Do not exfoliate for at least two days prior
• Stay out of direct sun light, avoid sun tanning or tanning creams/sprays for at least three days prior
• Do not receive Medium / Deep chemical resurfacing or laser treatments for 1 month
• Do not wax or receive laser hair removal for at least two days
• Do not use oral acne medications for at least two days

Prior to the procedure, you will have a comprehensive consultation with your esthetician. During this consult, your esthetician will recommend treatments that will improve the health of your skin.

The HydraFacial itself includes the following steps: cleansing and exfoliation, chemical peel, extractions, and infusion of serums. All four steps are administered through various attachments on the HydraFacial device. The suction and movement of the device boosts lymphatic drainage and improves circulation in the skin. These non-invasive treatments are painless and are generally offered in 30, 60, and 90 minute sessions, making them easy to work into any schedule.

After a HydraFacial treatment, you will notice immediate results. Skin will feel smoother, softer, and more hydrated as a result of the exfoliating acids and hydrating ingredients used. You may also notice a reduction in puffiness due to the lymphatic drainage. The use of nutrient-rich serums may also temporarily plump up fine lines and wrinkles, lessening their appearance.

HydraFacials should also be avoided by individuals with a contact allergy to shellfish, as it is an ingredient found in one of the primary steps of the treatment.

The HydraFacial can be performed the very same day as injectables and non-ablative light and laser treatments. It can also incredibly beneficial one week post-Fraxel, as it speeds up the shedding process that resurfacing devices inevitably induce while also deeply hydrating the skin.

Side-effects are rare. It is suitable for all ages and all skin types.
