At PLEIJ our pricing structure reflects variations in education, experience, skill level, and demand amongst our professionals. We pride ourselves on our continued and advanced education, as well as the talent of our dedicated staff and their commitment to the absolute mastery of their trade. We measure this growth through our Professional Levels, ensuring that our technicians have achieved mastery of specific techniques and reached designated milestones.

At the top our team consists of a select group of elite professionals who are the best and most sought after in their respective fields. These award-winning professionals are top creative talents harboring globally recognized qualifications and invaluable international experience. Our middle and entry level professionals are incredibly talented and represent the future leaders of our industry.

All of our professionals have up-to-the minute knowledge of their fields, an attention to detail that is unrivaled and are deeply attuned to the needs of our guests. We invite you to choose a professional level that meets your needs and budget.

HAIR PROFESSIONAL LEVELS

Protégé:
Our Protégé have an Ohio cosmetology degree and have completed extensive training in all facets of hair care through out Advanced Training Program and industry recognized educators. Protégé complete a rigorous shadowing experience as part of their advanced education before they may enter the floor as a stylist. During this time they work with models and assist with guests to sharpen their skills and demonstrate their readiness for a role on our team. Each service rendered is monitored and assisted by our Design Team.

Stylists:
Stylists have completed our Protégé Program and received extensive training in all facets of hair artistry working under the direction and supervision of our Master Stylists and Artistic Directors. They have fulfilled the specified criteria in advanced education and demonstrated expertise and proficiency. Each has spent no less than two years as a Protégé, time needed to perfect their skills and gain the experience it takes to become a Stylist.

Senior Stylists:
Senior Stylists possess the fore mentioned qualifications and have fulfilled specific criteria in advanced education and training. Their commitment to on going education keeps them at the forefront of new techniques and trends. With no less than 5 years of experience, Senior Stylists are seasoned professionals who have exceeded expectations behind the chair and beyond and are well on their way to mastery of their craft.

Master Stylists:
Master Stylists, after obtaining Senior status, have been active as a trainer for two years and fulfilled specified criteria in advanced education and training. Our Master Stylists average 7-10 years of experience and have trained with world renowned experts ranging from hair stylists, colorists, and hair restoration specialists mastering every aspect of hair care. They are recognized as some of the top creative talents and leaders in their field of luxury hairdressing.

Artistic Directors:
When nothing but the best will do. Our Artistic Directors are elite professionals of the very highest caliber and absolute masters of their craft. They are much more than hairstylists — they are artists whose medium happens to be hair.

Artistic Directors are plugged into the rapid pulse of fashion and beauty and travel the world learning their technical and creative techniques. They are responsible for ensuring our salon remains at the forefront of our industry including keeping up with the very latest trends, as well as conceiving, developing, and implementing the artistic direction for their respective departments.

NAIL PROFESSIONAL LEVELS

Nail Tech:
Our Nail Techs have received a cosmetology degree, Ohio License and have completed extensive training in all facets of nail care.

Master Nail Techs:
Our Master Nail Techs have completed the fore mentioned Nail Tech qualifications and have fulfilled specific criteria in advanced education and specialized services. A Master Nail Tech is a top performer and a leader in our salon. Our Master Nail Techs average 3 years of experience and have received extensive in and out of house training. They are recognized as some of the top creative talents in the field of luxury nail care / artistry and leaders in their field.

Artistic Director:
When nothing but the best will do. Our Artistic Directors are elite professionals of the very highest caliber and absolute masters of their craft. They are much more than technicians— they are artists whose medium happens to be nails.

Artistic Directors are plugged into the rapid pulse of fashion and beauty and travel the world learning their technical and creative techniques. They are responsible for keeping our salon at the forefront of our industry including keeping up with the very latest trends, as well as conceiving, developing, and implementing the artistic direction and vision for their respective departments.

ESTHETICIAN LEVELS

Estheticians:
Our licensed estheticians have received a degree from an accredited school with an emphasis in esthetics. On-going training is also provided from our experienced training team and from external trainers and industry educators.

Master Estheticians:
Our Master Estheticians have grown within the company and are ready for the next step. These professionals have attained the above qualifications and have completed specific criteria in our advanced education, training and specialty services. Our professionals progress their careers through mentoring, training others and giving back to the community through charity events, fashion shows, and photo shoots.

Senior Estheticians:
Our Senior Estheticians have obtained the Master status and have completed our continuous advanced career education and training. These established professionals have an average of 12 years of in-house experience and have had the opportunity to train throughout the world. Our professionals progress their careers through mentoring, training others and giving back to the community through charity events, fashion shows, and photo shoots.

MASSAGE THERAPIST LEVELS

Massage Therapists:
Our Massage Therapists have a degree from a state accredited massage school. These professionals believe in the wellbeing of our guests and the power of massage. All Massage Therapists are licensed by the State of Ohio Medical Board.

Master Massage Therapists:
Our Master Massage Therapists have the above qualifications and have continued to grow and learn within our company through advanced education and specialized certifications. Our professionals progress their careers through mentoring, training others and giving back to the community through charity events.

Senior Massage Therapists:
Senior Massage Therapists lead our training team through advanced certifications and they participate in a variety of specialty service offerings. These established professionals have an average of 10 or more years of experience and expertise and have trained throughout the United States on various massage techniques and philosophies.

You may schedule your appointment over the phone by calling 614.547.2566 and a guest service representative will be pleased to make recommendations and/or suggestions and help schedule an appointment that is convenient for you. You may also schedule your appointment on our website.

All appointments must be secured with a valid credit card to ensure that we can accommodate our guests needs.

We ask that you disclose any medical conditions and/or prescription medications you are taking as some services may be contra-indicated.

If you have any known allergies please let us know so that we might take the proper precautions to cater to your needs and proper product recommendations.

* We offer stylists at various price levels based on years of experience to help fit many different budgets.

All men’s haircuts are scheduled in 30-minute blocks of time, women’s haircuts are scheduled in 45-minute blocks. Please note that some hair types require additional time, such as thicker, longer or more textured. In these instances the haircut must be scheduled for additional time and will be reflected in the service price.

If you’d like to secure the day, time, and salon professional for recurring Pleij Salon visits, a guest service representative will gladly help schedule standing appointments with your preferred professional. ARRIVAL
Please arrive at least 10 minutes prior to your scheduled reservation to check in, orient yourself with our staff and facility, enjoy a beverage and/or healthy snack from our cafè, or preview a possible new look in our various fashion magazines.

LATE ARRIVALS
To ensure the promptness of all reservations we reserve the right to reschedule or abbreviate any service for a guest arrival 15 minutes or more beyond their scheduled reservation. Guests who arrive late but do not require rescheduling will receive an abbreviated session but will be charged in full for their scheduled service.

Pleij Salon realizes that schedule adjustments are occasionally unavoidable. While we truly sympathize, the salon cannot absorb the financial responsibility of last minute cancellations. The salon does not double book appointment times, but rather reserves specific times for each client affording individual care.

Should a cancellation or date change be necessary, we require a minimum 24-hour notice, and a 48-hour notice for any package or multiple service charge. If an appointment is missed, cancelled or changed with less than the required notice the following service charge will apply.

  • Less than 24-hour notice will result in a charge equal to 50% of the reserved service amount.
  • “NO SHOWS” will be charged 100% of the reserved service amount.
  • Appointments made within the 24-hour period which later need to be cancelled, must be cancelled within 4 hours of appointment time or a charge equal to 50% of the reserved service amount will apply.
  • Any package or multiple service appointment must be held with a credit card. Packages and multiple service appointments not cancelled 48-hours in advance will be charged 100% of the reserved service total. A credit card “HOLD” transaction maybe made on your credit card to reserve the appointment time.

In fairness to all clients this policy is in effect regardless of the reason for the cancellation.

Multiple and/or reoccurring late cancellations or no-shows, will result in discontinuation of any further services at Pleij Salon and dismissal.

ONE-TIME COURTESY
Pleij Salon will not charge a fee for the first time a customer cancels outside of the allotted 24 hours of their scheduled appointment time. A second occurrence will result in your credit card being charged the full amount for the scheduled service(s).

Pleij Salon recognizes that emergencies do sometimes happen. In the event of an emergency, you are still required to call to cancel your appointment or you will be charged a no-show fee.

To cancel your appointment, please call us at 614.547.2566. If you do not reach the receptionist, you may leave a detailed message on our voicemail. If you would like to reschedule your appointment, please leave your name and phone number and we will return your call promptly.

NOTE: To ensure we receive your cancellation notice and to avoid subsequent fees, please refrain from canceling your appointment via email.

POLICIES

For consideration of all our guests, we request that mobile phones be turned off in the spa area.

Please be assured that your safety is our goal. All salons, spa materials, and equipment have been professionally sanitized for each guest.

As a precaution, please do not wax or shave your legs 24-hours before receiving a pedicure and avoid tanning 24-48 hours before and after hair removal services.

To preserve the results of your pedicure service, please allow at least 1 hour for the nail lacquer to adequately dry. As a courtesy to our guests, disposable flip flops are available free of charge and can be worn after your service.

Pleij Salon ensures a healthy environment for our guests and staff, please refrain from smoking in the salon, spa or on the property.

We request that you leave all jewelry and other valuables at home as Pleij Salon, llc. is not responsible for lost or stolen items.

To protect your clothing, we ask that you wear a robe or smock that we provide.

We back our services 100%. If you are not satisfied with a service provided please let us know as soon as possible so we have the opportunity to make it right.

Haircuts:
If you are not satisfied with the quality of the haircut you received and would like it corrected, we will honor a “redo” at no cost to you within 7 days of your original appointment. A redo constitutes the haircut and style that was discussed at your original appointment through consultation with your stylist. If you choose to request a new and entirely different haircut, it will be considered a new haircut appointment and your stylist’s standard fee will apply.

Note: The above mentioned “Service Guarantee” is at the sole discretion of Pleij Salon management.

Chemical/Color Services:
We guarantee both our chemical and color services when the products and services have been purchased and performed solely from/by Pleij Salon staff. If, for any reason, you are not satisfied with a chemical or color service you received, we must be notified within 7 days of application. After 7 days, an additional fee may be assessed.

We are very clear in our consultations with our clientele prior to the service to avoid any miscommunication. Therefore, it is important that you let us know immediately if you are not satisfied with your service(s). Customer Service is our mission; we will go the extra mile to correct any situation to ensure your complete satisfaction. With that said, if you choose to have chemical services performed by Pleij Salon, it is imperative that you follow the at-home care regimen that is recommended to you by your stylist(s). We use a complete hair color and hair care system which works hand in hand to compliment and support one another. If choose not to purchase the hair care products recommended by your stylists, we do not guarantee the results of the service.

Due to the artistic nature of what we do, we cannot offer refunds on services performed. However, we will work tirelessly to ensure you are satisfied. In the unlikely event of a service challenge, you must notify us within 48 hours of service completion, and allow us the opportunity to correct the service within 7 days.

PLEIJ Salon + Spa is dedicated to offering the finest hair, skin, nail and health products in the industry. If for any reason you are dissatisfied with your retail purchase, we will happily refund or exchange any unopened, or gently used product (excluding those referenced below) with receipt within 7 days of purchase and we will gladly exchange it for something more suitable, or refund the full purchase price. Original shipping and handling fees will not be refunded.

  • Even or like exchanges may be permitted at the discretion of the salon management.
  • All sales of hair brushes, hair accessories (clips, hair bands, etc.), makeup and skin care products including makeup brushes and cosmetic tools are final, no returns or exchanges. There is a 20% restocking fee on the following items: Dyson hair dryers, Opera LED Mask, Opera HydroGel Masks, all joovv devices, Rain Drops Shower Filters, all vitamins and supplements.
  • Hair extensions, whether applied or still in their original packaging are nonreturnable/nonrefundable.
  • Tools (blow dryers, flat irons, Opera Mask, joovv devices, etc) may be returned with receipt within 7 days of purchase, providing they are in their original packaging.
  • All sales are final on any discounted or sale items.
  • A receipt dated within 7 days of purchase is required for all returns and exchanges.

All series and package purchases are non-refundable. Once purchased, the amount spent on the package or series cannot be altered or moved to a different service or product. Packages and series expire 6 months from date of first use.

Refunds are issued in the same manner as the original purchase (including gift cards), except for cash sales. No cash or check purchase refunds will be made at the salon. All cash and check purchase refunds are processed via check mailed to guest. Gift cards are not refundable.

To return or exchange all or some of your order, simply stop into the salon. If you made your purchase online and are unable visit us in person, please call or email us to request your Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA). A member of our team will contact you via email within 2 business days to tell you if your return has been approved, or if more information is needed. In an effort to maximize the experience of each guest, and minimize any unforeseen injuries, children are only allowed in the salon during their personal hair service. Please be advised that this policy will be strictly enforced and guests will be asked to reschedule their appointment if any children not receiving a service are in attendance.

Our concerns are for the safety of your children.

We understand how challenging it is finding time to spend for yourself. We also understand that your “me time” does not always align with your hair appointments. However, our policy strictly prohibits unsupervised children in the salon. In the event you must bring a young child into the salon, please provide proper supervision for them in the form of an additional caretaker. Unfortunately the salon cannot provide childcare services. Also, young children in carriers/strollers may not be placed near the service areas or held in the lap.

We kindly request ONLY those receiving services be present in the service areas. Older children, (12+) capable of sitting quietly and unsupervised, may wait in the provided seating area. While this policy helps ensure that all guests enjoy a relaxing salon experience, it was created with your child’s safety in mind.

Our salon is not child-proof. Sharp instruments, hot styling tools, chemicals and a busy, congested area make for a potentially dangerous environment for young children. Pleij Salon stylists and staff are dedicated to providing each of our guests with the highest level of services possible.

We greatly appreciate your compliance with our child safety policy.

No pets are allowed in the salon (excluding service dogs).

Never expected, always accepted and appreciated. We can only accept cash. Another option is to send a tip via PayPal, Zellé or Apple Pay. For your convenience, we offer personal tip envelopes. Please note that gift cards cannot be used for gratuity.

Gift cards from PLEIJ Salon + Spa make the perfect gift for any occasion! Gift cards are available in any increment. Gift cards can be purchased in our salon, over the phone, or online.

Please note that gift cards cannot be used for gratuity, and may not be redeemed the same day as purchased.

Gift Cards are non-refundable and non-exchangable. Please treat your gift card as if it we cash, we cannot be responsible for lost of stolen gift cards. Gift Cards and E-Gift Certificates contain value that may be used to purchase merchandise and services. However, they cannot be used to purchase other gift cards or e-gift certificates. Please present your PLEIJ Salon Gift Cards and E-Gift Certificates at checkout and your sale will be deducted from your card’s balance. All remaining balances must remain on your card (no cash value). Pleij Salon is not responsible for cards that are lost, stolen, damaged or used without authorization. Pleij Salon Gift Cards and E-Gift Certificates are the property of Pleij Salon.

Online gift card purchases can be received in two ways:

Electronically. Electronic gift cards are sent to you, or the gift card recipient, immediately via email with a link to a PDF that can be printed and used without delay.

By Standard U.S. Mail. Gift cards will be sent to the billing address or recipient address, depending on your preference. Gift cards will be packaged in Pleij Salon gift card packaging and will include a service menu. Please note that delivery is 7-10 days.

An Electronic Gift Card is a gift card that is emailed to you or your recipient immediately after completion of the purchase. After receipt of the email, the recipient can click on the PDF attachment, print or save the file, and redeem at Pleij Salon.

Pleij Salon Electronic Gift Cards are non-transferable. Recipients must provide photo identification that matches the name on the Electronic Gift Card.

A legible copy of the Electronic Gift Card and proper photo identification must be presented at time of payment.

Electronic Gift Card which are illegible, copied, or modified in any way will be considered null and void.

Pleij Salon, LLC. is not responsible for the proper functionality of PC or MAC hardware, software or e-mail. Technical problems with Electronic Gift Cards must be received by Pleij Salon, LLC. within three days of purchase.

The salon provides an intimate setting for small groups and services of your choice. If you’re interested in reserving the space, please send an email to info@pleijsalon.com.

Does PLEIJ have a private party area/room?

In addition to our common areas, our salon offers a package room where members of your party may relax before, after, and in between services.

Does PLEIJ provide drinks/refreshments?

PLEIJ offers fruit infused water, tea, coffee, and light snacks (dried fruit, nuts) to all of our clients. Food items from EpiCUREan, our in house café (which is catered by Cameron Mitchell Premier Events) are also available for purchase. You may bring in your own non-aromatic food to the spa, however you must have prior approval from your Group Coordinator. Any damages that result from outside food being consumed in the spa will be charged back to the group. There are also multiple restaurants located within walking distance from all of our locations. We are happy to recommend a few of our favorite places.

What if my spa group needs to cancel?

For all groups of 6+ we do require a 7-day cancellation notice as to avoid the full service charge for treatments booked. Please let your Group Coordinator know of any changes or cancellations that need to be made as soon as possible.

Does PLEIJ offer group discounts?

We do offer group discounts, ask your Group Coordinator for additional details.

Why do I have a Group Coordinator?

PLEIJ provides a group coordinator for all parties of 6+ guests. The Group Coordinator will be your main contact to assist with any questions you may have, schedule your appointments, and help to ensure your event is planned to your satisfaction.

Can I, or my group members, make substitutions to spa packages?

PLEIJ offers a few different packages for our guests to choose from. If there is not an ideal package for your group you may mix and match your desired services, however the price would be a la carte. If you need some assistance choosing the services, check out our service menu or ask your Group Coordinator for recommendations.

Can we forgo applying a deposit and check out individually?

When we have a large group we do take a deposit to ensure a quick and easy checkout for our clients. We kindly ask that one member of the party be responsible for the final total.

Does PLEIJ offer a 30-minute massage?

PLEIJ offers a number of treatments under 45 minutes. Please check our service menu for full list of treatments we offer, or ask your Group Coordinator.

May we block out “some time” for my attendees?

Due to room availability, we request the desired services for each group member prior to blocking any time to ensure there is a therapist available for the specific service.

May we bring in our own alcohol?

Indeed you may however, for the safety of our guests and therapists, PLEIJ does not allow the consumption of alcohol in or during our spa treatments.

Does PLEIJ offer offsite services?

We love offsite services! We will send a team of talented stylists and makeup artists to your home, hotel room, or venue. The pricing is the standard fee per service + 50% on-site charge, and $1 per mile outside of the Columbus area. Please contact us for more specific pricing.

Does PLEIJ offer airbrush makeup?

PLEIJ Salon+Spa offers airbrush makeup and regular makeup applications for onsite services and in our salons.

Does the salon serve champagne or wine?

PLEIJ Salon+Spa offers a number of beverages; water, tea, and coffee for your bridal party to enjoy while they receive their treatments. beer, wine (red and white), champagne, and mimosas

Does PLEIJ offer specific packages for brides and their bridal parties?

Yes, we certainly do! Please take a look at our available options for brides, as well as for the ensemble for all of our bridal packages.

Does PLEIJ offer false lash applications?

Yes, we do offer temporary false lash applications at the salon for a fee of $20. If you are looking for a
more enduring lash application, our spa offers Lavish Lash extensions.

PAYMENT

PLEIJ Salon + Spa accepts Cash, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, Debit Cards and Apple Pay for payment of services and products.

American Express, Chase Credit Cards, and Checks are NOT accepted forms of payment, an additional service charge equal to 10% of the total ticket will be applied to these payment methods.

Please be aware that a valid credit card number is required to reserve your appointment.

Pleij Salon gift cards are redeemable for retail products and/or services up to the balance available. Your gift card must be presented at the time of payment. Gift cards are non-refundable and not redeemable for cash or credit. Gift cards cannot be duplicated if lost, stolen, or damaged.

Please note that gift cards cannot be used for gratuity. Gift cards may not be redeemed the same day as purchased.

At Pleij Salon, we’re committed to bringing you the best quality at the best prices. If you find a lower price on any of our retail products, we’ll match it—guaranteed.

When it comes to retail we won’t be beat on price and will gladly match the product prices of licensed online retailers and local competitors on identical items that meet our price match conditions.

What Qualifies?

(1) The product(s) must be identical and offered through another licensed retailer. In most instances unlicensed retailers offer counterfeit, expired and/or defective products which is how they are able to discount their offerings.

Note: When shopping on or offline you should always confirm the retailer is licensed by the manufacturer.

(2) Product must be immediately available. Back ordered / wait listed products do not apply.

(3) Our Price Match Guarantee covers new items. One price match per identical item, per customer, at the current pre-tax price available to all customers is allowed.

How to Price Match?

(1) Find a qualifying product – Make sure the product you would like to price match is identical to our competitor’s product (it must be a matching brand, same product and size). Pleijsalon.com orders are available for price matching by phone only.

(2) Call or stop in to request a price match – Call or visit our salon to submit your price match request. Please be prepared to present the qualifying competitor’s ad or website that is displaying the current lower price (that is still in effect) you would like to match. Pleij Salon will then review and verify the price match request.

Our Price Match Guarantee Does Not Cover…

(1) Competitors’ service and treatment prices

(2) Products sold by unlicensed retailers

(3) Products shipped from or sold by membership clubs and third-party sellers on websites

(4) Any financing offers, bundle offers, free items, pricing errors, mail-in offers, , open-box items, refurbished items, pre-owned items, credit card offers, gift card offers, rent/lease to own items, Point of Sale Activation cards,

(4) Competitors’: pricing errors, “buy one get one” offers, “gift with purchase” offers, free items, mail-in offer, items that are advertised as limited quantity, out of stock items, or clearance items, open-box items, gift card offers, and items for sale Thanksgiving Day through the Monday after Thanksgiving. Competitors’ online pricing that is limited to one day or less (e.g. doorbuster items, one day deal, 6-hour sale, evening sale). Clearance, closeout, damaged product, used, refurbished, open packages or liquidation sales. Prices outside of the US.

(5) Coupons in conjunction with price match.

Note: The goal of our price matching is to ensure that our customers get the best price available. When shopping with a coupon but also looking for a price match, we will apply the price match OR the coupon – whichever provides the best discount.

You may use a coupon together with a price match ONLY if the competitor would also accept the coupon at the price being matched.

What qualifies as proof of a price?

For local printed ads, present the entire printed advertisement. Photos or photocopies of the ad cannot be accepted as verification of a competitors printed ad. Digital versions of printed advertisements are accepted. For online prices, simply present the price on your mobile device from a qualifying competitor’s website. Our staff will then verify the match.

Does an item have to be in stock to receive a price match?

Competitor online items must be in stock at the time a price match is requested. Customers who visit our salon in person due to out of stock issues on pleijsalon.com may request a price adjustment at guest services when applicable. Rain checks are not given for price match requests if items are out of stock at a store, pleijsalon.com.

LOYALTY / REWARDS PROGRAM

At Pleij Salon we feel that a personal referral to our business is the ultimate form of flattery. It is also another opportunity for us to reward our loyal customers and give you some incentive to keep spreading the Pleij love!

That’s why, for every new client that you refer to us, we will give you 25 Loyalty Points AND your referral receives 10 Loyalty Points at their first service as well – just be sure they mention your name at checkout! The referral made us who we today and it tells us we are doing things right and are a great way to help you (our valued customer) maximize your Loyalty Points.

SHIPPING

PLEIJsalon.com ships to US addresses only. We are now able to deliver to either PO Boxes, APO, FPO or a valid street address. To ensure the security of your products, we encourage you to ship to a business address whenever possible.

Ground Shipping is complimentary on all orders over $35.00. Expedited 2-day and 3-day Air Shipping is available for all orders at an additional cost. Expedited shipping costs varies depending on the weight of your package and its destination. Please note this will be calculated during checkout.

Business Days:

Our orders are shipped and delivered on business days (Monday through Friday, excluding major holidays). Our standard shipping carrier is USPS, though we may use alternate carriers on occasion. We ask that you anticipate 3 to 4 business days for standard ground shipping. Orders to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and US Virgin Islands take 4 to 9 business days. We do not ship outside the U.S. at this time.

For 3-Day or 2-Day shipping, orders must be placed by 11:59pm EST and will be processed the following business day. Orders placed on Saturday, and Sunday will be processed on the following Monday, provided it is not a major holiday.

International Shipping:

We do not currently ship orders outside the U.S.
