THE SOLUTION TO LONGER, FULLER, MORE DEFINED BROWS
The newest “it” trend in beauty offers the opportunity to get the brows of your dreams without the cost of microblading. Brow lamination, also called brow sculpt or brow lift, is essentially a perm for your eyebrows without the harsh chemicals.
This gentle service is designed to add volume and fullness, smooth dimension, re-create your brow shape including extending the width of your brows and creating a more defined arch. It will cover sparse areas and add texture.
Where it differs from microblading and brow tinting is no pigment is added to your brows (though you can opt for an additional tint). Instead your hairs are coaxed into place to look fluffier and more defined, and have a slicked-up, shiny look—this is where the term lamination comes from. The end result is super smooth brows that look like you have brow gel on them.
But that’s not all, a lash lift really helps open the eyes, making you look bright-eyed and alert. The lifted effect also brings out the full length of every individual lash, making them look instantly longer.
Combining an eyebrow tint with your lamination will darken the color of your brows and add depth.
Brow lamination can last anywhere 5-8 weeks depending on how quickly your brow hair grows, and it’s consistency, the treatment is not permanent.
Brow Lamination Is Like A Perm For Your Brows.
Brow lamination is basically a perm that provides up to 8 weeks of added volume, fullness and definition without the harsh chemicals. This procedure works with a keratin solution to create volume. The same way a hairstylist would set your hair around different size barrels and coat it with a perming solution to lock in the shape, a brow specialist sets your lashes, then paints the hairs with a lifting solution.
Every treatment starts with a consultation to determine what brow style you’re looking to achieve. The shape is fully customizable and based on your answers, your esthetician will create a bespoke design.
The effects are semi-permanent so you’ll need to get the procedure done again after 4-8 weeks in order to maintain results.

BROW LAMINATION FAQs
Before your visit, you’ll want to make sure that your eyebrows are clean: They should be completely free of makeup or residue — this includes oils that some makeup removers leave behind.
While brow laminations are advertised as being safe, the process itself involves chemicals, including manufactured keratin:
• Chemicals break up the disulfide bonds in strands of hair, making it possible to reshape the hair.
• The application of another solution “sets” the new shape and stops the initial process of reforming the disulfide bonds in your hair.
Let your esthetician know if you have a history of eye, skin conditions, or sensitivities. Whether or not you have a history of sensitivities, it’s a good idea to have the practitioner perform a skin test with a small amount of the lash-lifting product. This is usually applied to a less conspicuous area of the body, such as the inside of your elbow.
The services starts with an in-depth consultation during which your brow specialist will discuss the details of the treatment including the process and your desired results.
The actual treatment begins with brow shaping to create a clean slate. Next, a “style adjusting” product is used to style the hairs into the client’s desired shape, followed by a style neutralizer that sets brows in place. The last step is the application of a nourishing keratin oil that replenishes moisture after the chemical treatment process.
Not if performed by a skilled and properly trained professional who will ensure proper eyebrow lamination procedures are followed.
A brow lamination can last anywhere 5-8 weeks depending on how quickly your brow hair grows, and it’s consistency. The coarser your hair is, the less longevity you’ll experience however, our brow lamination provides 5-8 weeks of slick, smooth, shiny, lifted, fuller brows.
There are some situations that may cause the lift of your brow hair to drop/weaken prematurely such as swimming, use of harsh products or heat. If you find that your lift does not last the full two months, you can repeat the treatment after a minimum of 4 weeks of your initial brow lamination procedure, but not before.
Brow Lamination MAY NOT be suitable for clients that:
- Pregnant. If you have an appointment and found out that you are pregnant, please contact me right away and we can reschedule
- Have Trichotillomania (compulsive pulling or twisting hair, eyebrows and eyelashes)
- Have very sensitive eyes or possible allergies to adhesive (recommended to book an appointment for a patch test)
- Undergoing chemo treatments or have had chemo treatments within the past year (recommend to consult with your physician)
- Are sensitive or have allergies to dyes (recommended to book an appointment for a patch test)
Avoid getting your brows wet (or makeup remover) during the first 24 hours so they can set their shape. After a day, they’re set and it’s back to your regularly scheduled programming.
To keep your brow hairs as healthy as possible we recommend you give your brows a break in between any treatments (including tinting and extensions) to maintain their strength. We also recommend applying a nightly oil such as CompleteLash® Accelerator with nourishing ingredients to strengthen and promote brow as well as lash growth.
Approximately 40-50 minutes depends on how long and coarse your brow hairs are, and if your brows will be tinted.
Brow lamination will begin to naturally drop after about 6 – 8 weeks and your brows will return to their natural look. The brows should drop evenly and will not look out of place.
Above all, we want to hold the integrity of the brow hair. Brow hair is just like lash hair – it goes through growth cycles and it sheds so you’ll notice the consistency going back to normal in about six to eight weeks. That’s when it’s safe to go ahead and do another lamination.
Gently, using mild products. Always wait 24 hours to do this, straight after the procedure.
Brow Lamination – $99
Brow Lamination & Tint – $130
Like any cosmetic treatment, lash lifts aren’t without risk. There are some potential side effects to consider — which can be made worse if you don’t work with an experienced technician who specializes in treatments around the eyes, including lash lifts. lash extensions, tinting, and/or brow shaping.
Skin irritation is perhaps the greatest risk of the procedure. While protective pads are placed along your lash line to prevent the keratin glue from getting on your skin, this method isn’t completely foolproof.
You might also be more prone to irritation due to the chemicals contained in the solution if you have a history of dry eye, allergies, and eye or skin sensitivities.
Potential side effects from the solution include:
• blisters
• rash
• redness
• dry eye
• watery eyes
• inflammation
• more brittle lash hair
Aside from the solution itself causing irritation, working with an inexperienced practitioner can also increase your risk of side effects during the application process.
APPOINTMENT PREP & AFTERCARE
It’s best to avoid using retinol and topical over-the-counter and prescription acne treatments for at least 48 hours before your treatment since these products can sensitize the skin, and potentially lead to irritation.
Please plan to arrive 10 minute prior to your appointment time to update all necessary consultation forms and prepare for your procedure to begin on time. Please make sure to arrive without concealer, eye makeup (mascara, eyeliner, eyeshadow etc.) and with clean skin on the day of your appointment. Makeup removal will result in time being taken from laminating and a removal fee of $25 will be added to the service.
If you want a more dramatic result, then going on something like a lash serum to grow your brow as long as possible is a great option (we recommend CompleteLash® Triple Action Lash Accelerator), however, we can work with any lash type.
DO
USE A LASH SERUM. It’s recommended to use a lash serum to help your brows grow longer and strong. This will help give you amazing looking brows
MOISTURIZE your brows. It’s recommended to use an oil that is safe to use around the eye area and brows to help moisturize your brows
DON’T
DO NOT WET your brows for 24 hours after the appointment
DO NOT SLEEP with your face laid on the pillow. You must sleep on your back for 24 hours. Your brows are prone to kinks within 24 hours after the procedure.
DO NOT PULL your brows. This can cause your natural brows to fall out prematurely and cause both breakage and permanent damage to the hair follicle

NATURAL BROW HAIR GROWTH CYCLE
Eyebrows go through a three-phase growth cycle. Long, full, defined brows are currently in vogue as touted one of the most desirable features a person can have. The popularity of services such as microblading and brow extensions speak to just how highly we covet them. So, if begin losing brow hair beyond what it standard shedding, it can be a little unsettling.
Eyebrows aren’t just a pretty feature on the face; they have a very specific and important function. Eyebrows serve to channel sweat, rain and moisture away from the eyes. Our brows also play a role in nonverbal communication and expressing happiness, surprise and anger. Each eyelash is actually a sensory hair that reflexively shuts the eyelid whenever it is touched by dirt, dust or anything else that could possibly get in the eye. The upper lid typically has about 90-150 lashes on it, while the bottom lashes have between 70-80 lashes. Most eyelashes grow to be 10mm long just 3/8 inch.
Although it may not seem like it, hair growth is a preset function of the body. Every hair on your body follows a three-phase growth cycle and eventually falls out, which is typically nothing to worry about.
ANAGEN (GROWTH) PHASE
The anagen phase is also called the growth phase. This is the phase when lashes are actively growing. It can last between 30-45 days. Only about 40% of the upper lashes and 15% of the lower lashes are in the anagen phase at any one time. Each will grow to a specific length and then stop.
CATAGEN (TRANSITION) PHASE
The catagen phase is also known as the transition phase. During this phase, the lash stops growing and the hair follicle shrinks. If an eyelash falls out or is plucked during this phase, won’t grow back right away because the follicle needs to complete the cartagen phase before it can move on to the next one. This phase lasts between two and three weeks.
TELOGEN (RESTING) PHASE
The telogen phase is also referred to as the resting phase. This can last more than 100 days before the eyelash falls out and a new one begins to grow. Each individual lash is in its own phase of the growing cycle, its normal for a few lashes to fall out most days. It typically takes between four to eight weeks to full replace and eyelash.
