Cyrena’s passion for meticulously beautiful hair has made her one of Pleij’s most sought after new talents. She sees each head of hair like a blank canvas, waiting to be transformed into vibrant art.

After starting a successful career in the Financial Services and mortgage industry, Cyrena quickly determined her heart just wasn’t in it. She took a leap of faith and quit her job to follow her dreams of pursing a career in the beauty industry. Coming from a family of hairstylists has set the bar high, but Cyrena was determined to succeed.

Cyrena attended the Aveda Institute of Columbus where she originally intended to focus on curly hair and makeup. However, after diving into hair she quickly realized she had a love for not only curly hair, but a passion for ALL hair. As for makeup that will always be a love that will never go away.

Training under the intense scrutiny of our owner and acclaimed hair artist, Tiché Florence, has enabled Cyrena to perfect her craft. A perfectionist who aims for nothing shy of excellence, she continues to enrich and expand her talents and product knowledge through ongoing and continuous education.

Known for her ability to intuitively create wearable haircuts that emphasize bone structure, compliment body proportions, and account for hair texture suitability, as well as her depth in trendy, precise, and lived-in cutting styles which combined guarantees each client their own signature look.

Cyrena has an innate gift of engagement that sets her clients at ease encouraging them to be themselves. She strives to assist her clients in becoming the very best version of themselves, and executes each look with artistry and vision ensuring each client leaves the salon not only feeling beautiful and confident, but with a smile on their face.
