Carla Rinaldi is a licensed acupuncturist in the State of Ohio. She received her Master’s Degree in Acupuncture from the American Alternative Medicine Institute, studying in both Columbus, Ohio and Beijing, China. Enhancing her holistic understanding of human health and wellbeing, Ms. Rinaldi holds a Master’s Degree in Clinical Social Work from Boise State University. Carla is also veteran of the Army National Guard, where she served as a combat medic in Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Ms. Rinaldi has an advanced knowledge of the concepts of Traditional Chinese Medicine diagnosis and treatment. She employs adjunctive therapies and diagnostic techniques for the promotion, maintenance, and restoration of health and the prevention of disease. Ms. Rinaldi’s advanced clinical knowledge is buttressed by her extensive training in western psychotherapy, as well as micro, mezzo and macro human and social systems theories.
At Pleij, Carla assists clients in the implementation of their goals associated with nutrition, stress management, pain management and sleep to improve their holistic health. Carla offers treatments and services that educate and empower clients to promote and enhance their personal self-care practices. Her unique understanding of mental health facilitates a collaborative approach that helps clients determine their personal health goals and treatment plans.
